I can only speak for myself but having IRL things that come up takes priority so missing queue's. I feel like getting penalized for such things is not right, at least not for an entire half an hour. You do not need to literally enter a duty to realise whether you were the wrong job or not, just withdraw the queue and change to whatever it was you wanted. Letting the timer run out is the same as withdrawing, but it's more forgiving in that it has to happen 3 times in one day, then you get a 30 minute penalty before you can use duty finder again. If you're already in a dungeon and you leave it mid way through, then it's an immediate 30 minute penalty.
