However, the game will not load past the loading screen. I deleted my custom folder and unsubscribed from all my workshop addons. What do I do? Looking at most of the maps, your computer has to load over 3000 entities (most of them are just prop_static - non edicts entities and the second map on Blast Pit has over 4000 entities).

WebAug 5, 2015 · Black Mesa tends to use higher-res assets than Half-Life 2, so that's probably why it takes a relatively longer time for maps to load. I'm not sure the devs can really do much about it because that's just how the Source Engine is. Even a decked out Episode Two map can take its sweet time loading.
